CCA Of The Year- Northeast
The Northeast Region Certified Crop Advisers may choose one CCA of the Year to honor regionally. That CCA is awarded $500 in cash and receives a plaque.
The CCA of the Year is chosen based on-

Scale and Scope of work. 20 points

Skills and Initiatives that sets this CCA apart. 40 points
-
CCA program involvement. 25 points

Volunteer service within and outside ag industry. 15 points
Furthermore, that CCA is then asked to fill out a more entailing form to be entered into the International CCA of the Year Contest.
A CCA may be self-nominated, nominated by an employer or client, or another CCA.

International Certified Crop Adviser of the Year Award
The International Certified Crop Adviser of the Year Award is designed to annually recognize a certified crop adviser who delivers exceptional customer service, is highly innovative, has shown that they are a leader in their field, and has contributed substantially to the exchange of ideas and the transfer of agronomic knowledge within the agriculture industry.
Nominations for the 2025 International Certified Crop Adviser of the Year Award will open on June 1. Nominations need to go through the Local Board, so talk with your Local Board administrator or Board member to nominate someone. More details on ICCA of the Year Award. Nominations are open through October with selection in November. The ICCA Executive Committee will screen all applicants and select the recipient.
